Is it my fate or enmity of some?

My mind sways around, I'm distressed

I know not which path to choose

which rope to hold

whatever path I take is usually closed

Is it my fate or enmity of some

I long to give happiness to many 

sadness is what comes to me & many

I took decisions thinking I was wise

All turned out to be a nightmare in disguise

Is it my fate or enmity of some

I work in secret but everything's fair

then why does everyone point to my character affair

I hid my sorrows behind this big smile

hoping someone will come & peep behind it

Alas! He has not been born yet

Is it my fate of enmity of some

I shied away from people but hath love for all

And they say you are arrogant, selfish & rude

I looked for comfort, for someone who could understand the unsaid

they say to speak only then we understand

No one bothers when I speak

Either they ignore or they call it a boring talk

Is it my fate or enmity of some

I longed for someone who could be

my friend, my father, my mother

my brother, my sister, my lover

Sadly, even the real ones ever couldn't be

At last, I got to know the truth unheart

It's my fate, not the enmity of some
